Iron ore washing plant

The introduction of the new Shenbang iron ore washing system will improve the final quality of the iron ore through an efficient and effective reduction in the levels of contaminants in the raw iron ore. These contaminants such as Alumica, Silica and fine silts and clays create inefficiencies in the steel production process and their effective removal can lead to substantial cost savings in production as well as allowing for the production of high quality steel products.

Shenbang presented a technical paper on this very theme to the International Mining & Machinery Exhibition (IMME) in Kolkata in November 2008. In summary, this new 200tph iron ore washing plant will create better efficiencies in the steel manufacturing processes of the Jai Balaji Group by producing higher grade ores for use in in the kilns and blast furnaces while also providing high grade iron ore fines for use in the sinter plants.
